Betta Imbellis
I was fortunate enough to get a trio of betta imbellis from Kathy
Waters
at convention
in Kansas City in June 2004. I threw them
in a 5 gallon tank on the
corner of my desk
and the male was
cooperative enough to spawn within a few days right on the
side
of the tank so I could take some pictures.
Don't you wish we could get all of
our fish
to cooperate so well.
Lesson learned - Always clean the glass of a tank before
introducing new fish for possible pictures. You never know
when they might spawn
and sometimes the new water is a trigger.
